Project Architect

Studio 6 Architects is looking for a creative, motivated, and focused Architect to join our Team in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Work will range from design and project delivery to administration of Construction Contracts for Commercial, Educational, Industrial, Religious, Medical and Multi-Family Projects.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Design concepts and develop solutions amongst a small team on a range of project types from Pre-Design to Schematic Design through Construction Administration.
  • Conducting meetings with Clients to communicate solutions and desired results meeting the Owner’s program and budget.
  • Communicate and coordinate with outside Consultants such as Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical.
  • Research, identify and vet new technologies and materials for use on Projects.
  • Prepare Construction Documents, Bid Documents and Specifications for Projects.
  • Conducting on-site observations of Construction and reporting progress.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
  • Active Board Licensure.
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Proficient in Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to translate concepts into functional designs and buildable solutions.
  • Experience in managing architectural basic services from schematic design through construction administration.
  • Excellent technical and construction detailing skills.
  • Knowledge of Building Codes, including Life Safety Codes.

Studio 6 Architects is looking for a creative, motivated, and focused Project Manager to join our Team in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Candidates must have a willingness to learn in a team-oriented professional setting and the desire to excel and grow into a Project Architect position. Work will range from Commercial, Educational, Industrial, Religious, Medical and Multi-Family Projects.
